I’m thrilled to introduce my newest partnership with Phytotherapy expert Tami Bronstein from The Medical Herbalist Apothecary. Tami & I will be working together to help shed light on the key role that the Neuro-Endocrine system plays in the development and remediation of disease.

In this 3-part interview, we discuss the basics of hormones, plant-based treatment, chronic illness as well as the subjective nature of Lyme Disease treatment.

It’s crucial that we understand the delicate balance of hormones that keep our bodies functioning at optimal level. We must look at the treatment of chronic illness holistically for this reason. No two bodies are the same, and therefore, there is no one size fits all approach.

The best we can do is educate ourselves and find the right healers who can understand the unique nature of each individual that walks through their office, especially when it comes to chronic illness.

Even when I wasn’t sure of everything that was going on inside my body, I knew there was something off at a very basic fundamental level. What I came to learn was that these neuro-hormonal processes were slowly breaking down over time, despite what my bloodwork would indicate.

Myself, as well as the specialists I saw were so focused on one gland, the thyroid, that they couldn’t step away to see how this being off was affecting all the other glands and hormones. It wasn’t until I did my own research that I finally received that validation and solution.

I’m beyond grateful to the beautiful healers like Tami who see this bigger picture.
