How To Speak So That We Are Heard

Whether we’re recovering our health or going through a tough time, it can be easy for overwhelm to overshadow our own awareness. When this happens we can lose sight of how we are coming across when we look to others for support.

In today’s video, I’m sharing why I believe this TED talk by Julian Treasure can help us and the importance of mindfulness in our communication so that we can feel heard during the times when we need desire that validation most.

    Great vlog! Thanks for sharing! I think you make a lot of really good points. When I was feeling ill I know I had limited energy for communication, but also needed a lot of help and support from those around me! So ‘speaking to be heard’ was super important, or else I would use up all my energy and not get the results I needed! I now apply mindfulness to a lot of aspects in my life, so I think communication will be next!
