How to Move Through Difficult Feelings

Posted by:

by: Jamie Rautenberg

I’m very passionate about making it clear that I am not exempt from being human just because I’m a coach. This means that I have all the same feelings as everyone else and I, too, must move through them or else I’d stay sick-emotionally & physically.

In today’s video, I’m addressing a question someone posed to me about this and I’m sharing what I do about it. Please like, comment & share with anyone who you feel may need ...

Great Expectations: How to Move Through the Impact of Illness on Friendships

by: Jamie Rautenberg

If we find ourselves in a place of turmoil (whether that’s mental, emotional, physical, or spiritual) it’s especially important to re-evaluate our choices. We must ask ourselves questions to reveal the root causes. Once we do this, we can address those causes with full consciousness and regain our power.

For me, reaching a state of profound mental & physical toxicity prompted me to take a second look at who I surrounded myself with, and how they were affecting me. ...

Purge Emotional Writing for Healing

Posted by:

by: Jamie Rautenberg

In today’s video, I’m diving into an assignment I received from my osteopath when I first began integrative therapies for Lyme Disease & various co-infections. What I love most about holistic medicine is how it takes into account all facets of healing, which includes our emotional & mental body. Writing has always been a form of therapy for me, but this type of writing is a little bit different from the blogs in which I describe my experiences & ...

Using Social Media for Healing

Posted by:

by: Jamie Rautenberg

We aren’t always conscious of the effect that social media has on our moods, and, therefore, our bodies. After being bed bound for a while, I noticed that I didn’t have the same tolerance I once had for the people, places, and things I once followed if they no longer fed me positive energy.

Even though scrolling through online platforms like Facebook has become a rote activity for most of us, I became keenly aware of its effects on my ...

LastDayWithIV

(The Morning of My Surgery to Remove the Line)

Every day at noon from April 2013-December 2013, the same reminder went off on my phone: “Infuse. NO BUBBLES!”

This translates to flushing the IV line in my chest with a saline syringe, followed by antibiotics, another saline flush, and finishing the process with Heparin to keep the line from clotting.

Anyone who ...

How An Actor Helped Me Connect Physics with Healing

I graduated high school with some of the brightest people I have ever met. It wasn’t my choice to attend Pine Crest, but my parents wanted to provide my sister and I with the best education they possibly could after we moved to South Florida. It may have only be a three hour flight from my former beloved grade school in New York, Forest Park Elementary, but it felt like an entirely different universe.

Of course there was some ...

Find Support & Connection For Your Health

Posted by:

by: Jamie Rautenberg

When it comes to healing, I’ll probably always be preaching about the importance of finding support & connecting with others through it.

I honestly don’t know if I’d be here typing this today if I didn’t depend on the kindness & generosity of strangers sharing their learning experiences with me online and personally.

Something really beautiful happened the moment I surrendered to the fact that maybe my well-intentioned doctors didn’t have all the answers I was seeking, and I hopped online ...

One person I look to as an invaluable source of research on Neuroimmune Disease is A.M. Runyan.
